Christmas Party and Ladies Night

The lodge's traditional Christmas Party and Ladies Night was held on December 8th. Among our guests on the evening were brethren from three different lodges, Camp Hill brethren's wives and families, our much-loved widows, and of course, Santa. Also present was Ms Cheryl Forster, the community relations officer of CareFlight, to accept a cheque from the lodge for over $500. We raised this money earlier in the year at a charity sausage sizzle.

Camp Hill Lodge's Installation

On the evening of Saturday the 15th of November, R.W. Bro. Neal Hewton, PJGW, was installed as Worshipful Master for the 2009 year in a very well conducted ceremony. Many thanks to the installing team. We had a gratifying spread of lodges among our visitors, and in all, 76 brethren attended.
Many thanks also to the fifteen to sixteen brethren and eight ladies who turned up early Saturday morning to take care of the set up and preparation. The festive banquet was a big success, with the proceeds going to Job's Daughters. A big thank you is also due to the brethren of Meridian Lodge No 404, who acted as stewards on the evening.

Grand Sword Bearer

On Saturday, Nov 1, W.Bro.Vaughan M. of Camp Hill Lodge and Beenleigh Royal Arch Chapter was invested as Grand Sword Bearer of the Supreme Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Queensland.

Master Elect's BBQ

On the 18th of October, Master Elect R.W. Bro. Neal and Leone hosted a barbeque for Lodge members prior to his upcoming installation. The afternoon was well attended and served as an excellent opportunity to contemplate what lies ahead of Camp Hill in 2009.
